Follow these steps:
Login to your Venmo account on your desktop or the mobile app
Navigate to your Settings
Select Payment Methods
Select Edit Payment Methods on desktop or Add bank or card on mobile
Select Link Bank Account on desktop or Bank on mobile
Select Manual Verification
Enter the routing and account numbers of your Envel account or a specific envelope. More information on your different accounts here.
Select Save and Continue
Now Venmo will deposit and withdraw two micropedosits (less than $1) into the Envel account you entered. This will take 1-2 days. If you do not see the microdeposits in your Envel account in two business days, or have other issues with this process, reach out to support@envel.ai
Once you've received the 2 microdeposits from Venmo in your Envel account or envelope, follow these instructions to complete the process:
Login to your Venmo account on your desktop or the mobile app
Navigate to your Settings
Select Payment Methods
Select your Envel account, which will show up as Nbkc Bank Personal Checking. On desktop, you will need to select Edit payment methods first, and then select Nbkc Bank Personal Checking.
Select Verify on mobile or Verify to pay from this bank on desktop
Enter the 2 microdeposits as posted on your Envel account or envelope
Select Verify
You have now linked Envel to your Venmo account!
